7Salutes: Homes for Our Troops gifts Fort Washington house to Marine
FORT WASHINGTON, Md. (7News) — Many of us may take mundane tasks for granted. Doing laundry and washing dishes is just a part of everyday life.
But for some of our nation’s veterans, those small tasks are a big struggle. So a local marine was given a big gift to make life easier.
A massive crowd of people waving flags welcomed Marine Corporal Kevork Chachadurian to his new Fort Washington, Maryland home Saturday. It was quite a spectacular homecoming.
Chachadurian has the newest, most state-of-the-art house on the block, but it came at a high price.
